John scored a guest staring role on the hour-long NBC comedy/drama “Ed” in 2003. He played a process server who exited his scene just as quickly as he entered it.

John is first seen sitting at the bar of a restaurant as the title character enters the room. John’s back is to the camera, but his character soon realizes that Ed has arrived. He approaches Ed, hands him some papers, speaks a few lines, and returns to the bar to grab his belongings. When questioned about the papers, John gives a trademark shrug and exits the building.
